of <h1>Appeals on Stock Transfers or Consignments: New Provision in Section 20 of Central Sales Tax Act Amended for Inter-State Disputes.</h1> Section 20 of the Central Sales Tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act, 2010. The amendment replaces sub-section (1) and its Explanation with a new provision. This new sub-section allows for an appeal to the Authority against any order by the highest appellate authority of a State concerning issues related to stock transfers or consignments of goods, specifically when these issues involve inter-State disputes.
