Registration application in FORM HSNS REG-01 and temporary number generation for cess liability compliance.

Every taxable person liable to registration under section 8 must apply online in FORM HSNS REG-01 with the documents specified in that form. Where machines are installed in more than one factory, a separate FORM HSNS REG-01 must be filed for each factory. On successful submission, a temporary registration number is generated and communicated to enable discharge of cess liability pending grant of the registration certificate under rule 5.
