Constitutional changes in Customs Broker firms require fresh licensing, while approved interim operations protect continuity after qualified personnel changes.

A licensed Customs Broker firm or company whose constitutional change invalidates its licence must report the change forthwith and apply for a fresh licence within sixty days. It may continue business pending a decision with approval. Where an examination-qualified partner, director or authorised employee dies or retires, a replacement qualified person may be named. In the absence of one, a G-card holder may be authorised to pass the required examination within two years, with the period extended until declaration of results if the written examination is taken in time.
