Discharge order for bankrupt individuals and partnerships enables trustee to seek adjudicating authority approval after estate administration or one-year expiry.

A bankruptcy trustee must apply for a discharge order either on expiry of one year from the bankruptcy commencement date or within seven days of the committee of creditors approving completion of estate administration; the adjudicating authority shall pass the discharge order and a copy must be provided to the Board for entry in the statutory register.
