of <h1>GST Exemption on Certain Equine Meats Removed by Notification No. 44/2017; Effective November 15, 2017.</h1> Goods under code 0205, specifically meat of horses, asses, mules, or hinnies, fresh, chilled, or frozen, were exempt from GST under CGST, UTGST, SGST, and IGST. This exemption was omitted by notification no. 44/2017, effective from November 15, 2017. Prior to this omission, the exemption applied to these meats unless they were frozen and packaged in unit containers.
