of <h1>Amendment Updates IGST and CGST/SGST Rates on Fishing and Hunting Goods, Removes Fishing Hooks from Schedule 2 List.</h1> Goods listed under Schedule 2 are subject to a tax rate of IGST at 12% or CGST at 6% plus SGST/UTGST at 6%. This includes fishing rods, line fishing tackle, fish landing nets, butterfly nets, similar nets, decoy birds, and similar hunting or shooting requisites, excluding items under headings 9208 or 9705. Amendments made by notification no. 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017, updated the description by removing fishing hooks from the list. A correction on July 27, 2017, clarified the heading reference from '9208.'
