of <h1>Tax Rate Change: Yarn of Manmade Staple Fibers under Codes 5509-5511 Removed from Schedule 3 by Notification 35/2017.</h1> Goods listed under codes 5509, 5510, and 5511, specifically yarn of manmade staple fibers, were previously subject to a tax rate under Schedule 3, with an Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) of 18% or a combination of Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) at 9% and State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) or Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (UTGST) at 9%. This provision was omitted by notification number 35/2017 dated October 13, 2017.
