        <h1>GST classification for electrical control panels removed by notification, ending prior coverage of assembled control and distribution boards.</h1> Tariff item 8537 in Schedule 4, previously subject to GST, was omitted by notification no. 43/2017 w.e.f. 15-11-2017. Before omission it covered boards, panels, consoles, desks, cabinets and other bases equipped with two or more apparatus of headings 8535 or 8536 for electric control or distribution, including instruments of chapter 90 and numerical control apparatus, excluding switching apparatus of heading 8517.
