        <h1>Omission of tariff item 6907 alters GST coverage for ceramic tiles after notification removing the prior classification.</h1> Item 6907 in the GST Schedule has been omitted by Notification No. 43/2017 dated 14-11-2017, effective 15-11-2017, removing the Schedule 4 entry that formerly described ceramic flags, paving, hearth or wall tiles, ceramic mosaic cubes and finishing ceramics and that had attracted a 28% GST classification.
