of <h1>Tax Reduction on Beauty and Skincare Products: Notification 43/2017 Removes 28% IGST Rate Effective November 15, 2017</h1> Goods previously subject to a tax rate of IGST at 28% or CGST at 14% plus SGST/UTGST at 14% have been omitted as per notification no. 43/2017 effective from November 15, 2017. The omitted items included beauty or make-up preparations and skincare products, excluding medicaments, such as sunscreen, suntan preparations, and manicure or pedicure products, with exceptions for items like kajal, kumkum, bindi, sindur, and alta.
