New SION Guidelines for Multi-Layer Plastic Tubes: Input Material Ratios and Adjustments for Additives Explained
The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for producing multi-layer plastic laminated tubes with or without caps. For every kilogram of the export product, the norms specify the required input materials: 1.12 kg of plastic laminated film, 0.5% U.V. ink, 0.3% U.V. varnish, 1.05 kg of HDPE granules for the tube shoulder, and 1.05 kg of polypropylene granules for caps. If additives or color master batches are used, the input of HDPE and polypropylene is adjusted to 1.03 kg per kilogram of the export product. Importers must ensure that imported goods match those used in the export product.
