Standard input-output norms set consumption ratios for manufacture of plastic insulated thermo wares: relevant polymers 1.05 kg/kg product; colour masterbatch 0.02 kg/kg polymer content; polyurethane components (polyol and isocyanate) each 0.525 kg/kg product for foam insulation; stainless steel 1.05 kg/kg; nylon/polypropylene belts 1.03 kg/kg; metallic parts net plus 1% wastage; glass containers net-to-net. Applicants must ensure imported inputs are those actually used or required in the export product and determine proportions of inputs employed in manufacture.
