of <h1>Updated SION for Polyester Chips (Textile Grade): Key Inputs and Quantities as per Public Notice No. 17/(RE-2012)</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for producing polyester chips (textile grade) via the PTA route, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. For every metric ton of polyester chips, the required inputs are 0.85830 MT of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) or Paraphthalic Acid, 0.33500 MT of Ethylene Glycol or Monoethylene Glycol (MEG), 0.00500 MT of Diethylene Glycol, 0.00038 MT of Antimony Trioxide, 0.00300 MT of Titanium Dioxide, and 0.00001 MT of Caustic Soda Flakes. The norms were updated by Public Notice No. 17/(RE-2012)/2009-2014 on September 20, 2012.
