of <h1>New SION Guidelines: 1 kg Equipment Needs 1.08 kg Stainless Steel Sheets and 1.05 kg Pipes for Production</h1> Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for Mass Transfer Equipment/Column Internals specify the required materials for production. For every 1 kg of equipment, 1.08 kg of stainless steel sheets/plates and 1.05 kg of stainless steel pipes/tubes are needed. Fasteners are calculated on a net-to-net basis. These norms are part of the Foreign Trade Policy for engineering products.
