of <h1>Per-tonne input norms for EAF thin-slab hot-rolled non-alloy steel, with caps on pig iron, sponge iron, and ferroalloy imports</h1> Standard input-output norms specify per-metric-tonne consumption for hot-rolled non-alloy steel (plates/sheets/strips/wide coil) produced via Electric Arc Furnace ? thin slab caster ? hot strip mill, enumerating primary inputs (steel scrap, pig iron/hot metal, sponge iron/HBI), ferroalloys (bulk and special), additives (Al, CaSi, cokes), consumables, refractories and energy sources with specific kg/SCM allowances. Pig iron/hot metal and sponge iron/HBI are capped at 60% and 35% respectively of the permitted total; silico-manganese imports limited to 60% of ferroalloy imports; special ferroalloys permitted only if their alloying elements are present in the export product. Imported goods must match actual use in the export product.
