For 1 km of cable the prescribed inputs are: aluminium ingot 383 kg, XLPE compound 133 kg, and aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy ingot 93 kg. Component content factors are primary unalloyed aluminium 1.02 kg/kg, magnesium 1.10 kg/kg, and silicon 1.075 kg/kg. Applicants must ensure imported materials correspond to the inputs actually required and used in the exported product.
