Standard Input-Output norms limit permissible imported inputs for automotive control and speedometer cables to prescribed input ratios.

Standard Input-Output Norms for All Types of Control and Speedometer Cables (Automotive Application) set prescribed input proportions and conversion factors (kg per kg content or net-to-net) for listed inputs-steel wire, steel stranded wire, flexible transmission shaft, components, plastic granules, plastic tubing and zinc. The SION is suspended by Public Notice No. 03/2024-25. Applicants must ensure imported goods are those actually used or required in the export product and adhere to the determined input proportions when manufacturing for export.
