        <h1>Suspension of SION for tubular poles; sets input-output ratios and verification rules for imported inputs in exports</h1> SION for tubular poles and related accessories under the engineering products schedule was suspended by public notice dated 03-05-2024. The norms specify input-output ratios: ERW MS/Carbon steel pipes/tubes - 1 MT (or 1.05 MT per MT content in export); MS/Carbon steel HR steels/coils (prime/seconds/defectives) - 1.1 MT per MT; MS/Carbon steel round rods and bars - 1.1 MT per MT; welding rods - up to 2% of FOB value. Determination of permissible input proportions will be applied, and applicants must ensure imported inputs are those actually used in the exported product.
