of <h1>Input-output norms set allowable steel and zinc inputs and wastage rates for manufacturing hot-dipped galvanized tension, truss, drop rods</h1> Standard Input-Output Norms prescribe allowable inputs and wastage for manufacturing hot-dipped galvanized tension bars/gate rods/truss rods/drop rods: for 1,000 kg export, permitted imports include re-rollable scrap/billet cuttings, MS billets/blooms or non-alloy steel wire rods, and zinc (99.99%). Wastage allowances are specified per kg of ungalvanized export product (examples: 1.10, 1.05, 1.03 kg/kg for steel inputs and 0.03 kg/kg for zinc). A note records substituted prior values. The proportion of inputs for different resultant products must be determined and applicants must ensure imported goods are those used in the export product.
