of <h1>New SION Guidelines: 1.056 MT Steel, 0.040 MT Zinc Needed for Export of Threaded Rods</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the production of fully threaded rods, both galvanized and ungalvanized, made from non-alloy, alloy, or stainless steel. For every 1 metric ton (MT) of fully threaded rods produced, 1.056 MT of non-alloy, alloy, or stainless steel bars and rods, including rounds and wire rods, are required. Additionally, 0.040 MT of zinc is needed specifically for the export of galvanized threaded rods. The schedule emphasizes that imported goods must be used in the export product as per the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
