Permissible inputs per 1,000 kg exported stainless steel wire: quantities, alloy formulas, value limits, route and die restrictions
Standard input-output norms prescribe allowable inputs per 1,000 kg of exported stainless steel wire (from melting scrap) produced via electric arc or induction furnace, listing quantities for scrap, electrodes, alloys, refractory items, lubricants, oils, dies, spools and other consumables. Conditions limit miscellaneous item value to 25% of licence CIF, disallow certain items for induction furnace route, and restrict some dies to wire below 1 mm. Formulas determine permitted quantities of silico-manganese, ferro silicon, ferro manganese and other ferro alloys based on mean elemental percentages in steel and alloys. Imported goods must match use in the export product.
