Prescribed input and energy norms for manufacture and export of non-alloy galvanised wire from melting scrap via electric-arc/induction routes
Standard input-output norms for manufacture and export of non-alloy galvanised wire (from melting scrap) list prescribed quantities of primary inputs (steel melting scrap, limestone), additives (CaSi, silico-manganese/ferro alloys, petroleum coke, aluminium, copper, lead), miscellaneous refractory and tooling items, wire-drawing/galvanising consumables (lubricants, dies, zinc, lead, bobbins) and energy fuels with specific kg allowances. Norms apply only for electric-arc or induction-furnace routes; certain items are excluded for induction route and some imports are permitted only for wire below 1 mm. Steel scrap follows Customs Tariff definition. Importer must ensure imported inputs are used in the exported product.
