of <h1>New SION for Coal-Based Direct Reduced Iron Sets Input Standards Under Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for producing coal-based Direct Reduced Iron (Briquetted Iron/Sponge Iron) under the Foreign Trade Policy. The required inputs include 1500 kg of calibrated iron ore with at least 67% iron content, 800 kg of non-coking coal with ash content of 12% or less, 45 kg of dolomite, 0.5 kg of high alumina refractory bricks, 0.12 kg of castable refractory, 0.000066 briquetting moulds, and 0.48 liters of light diesel oil. The value of items 4, 5, and 6 must not exceed 10% of the CIF value of the license.
