of <h1>New SION Guidelines: Alloy/Non-Alloy Steel & PVC Granules Required for Manufacturing Drop Forged Pliers Under Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for manufacturing drop forged pliers made of alloy or non-alloy steel under the Foreign Trade Policy. For every kilogram of pliers produced, 2 kg of alloy/non-alloy steel flats or plates and 1.05 kg of rigid PVC granules for PVC sleevings are required. Additionally, die steel blocks, die steel plates, and miscellaneous items like high-chromium steel bars and milling cutters can be used up to 5% of the FOB export value. Applicants must ensure that imported goods are necessary for the export product.
