of <h1>Amendment to SION: Revised Input Norms for Exporting Stainless Steel Ball Tips Under Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the export of ball tips made from stainless steel wire with a diameter of 2.3mm under the Foreign Trade Policy. For every 1 million ball tips, the required inputs include 2.30 kg of stainless steel wire and 1.01 million tungsten carbide balls. Additionally, cutting tools, drill oil, and chemicals can account for up to 2% of the FOB value of exports. An amendment made in 2012 revised the norms, previously allowing 1.02 million tungsten carbide balls and 4% of the FOB value for cutting oils and tools.
