Suspended input norms for aluminium household articles: specified scrap/ingot/sheet ratios and 99.7% purity requirement for anodized inputs
Standard input-output norms for manufacture of rectangular or square aluminium household articles (including anodized, with or without handles) specify allowable input proportions: aluminium scrap at 1.10 kg per kg of aluminium content in the export product; aluminium ingot at 1.07 kg/kg; aluminium sheet/coils at 1.05 kg/kg. For anodized products, permitted inputs (ingot, sheet/coils, circles) must have purity of 99.7% or higher; other shapes refer to category C-22. The provision is suspended per the referenced public notice, and applicants must ensure imported inputs are those actually used or required in the export product.
