It specifies the input requirements for manufacturing various types of silver contacts and profiles, including silver alloyed and bimetal contacts. For every 1 kg of silver content in the export product, 1.03 kg of unwrought silver, silver ingots, or bullion with a purity of 99.9% or above is required. Similarly, 1.03 kg of any other relevant metal or alloying metal is needed per kilogram of metal content in the export product. These norms were updated as per a public notice in 2013.
