of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy suspends standard input-output norms for variable-voltage auto transformers over specified KVA per Public Notice No. 03/2024-25</h1> Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for variable-voltage auto transformers above specified KVA have been suspended by Public Notice No. 03/2024-25 (03-05-2024). The schedule listed component norms per KVA: CRGO steel laminations 1.71 kg/KVA; copper winding materials 0.6 kg/KVA; carbon for brushes 5.0 cm3/KVA; brush holder assemblies and servo motor magnets on a net-to-net basis; and a base transformer weight of 1 kg. It requires determination of permissible input proportions for resultant products and obliges applicants to ensure imported goods are those actually used or required in the export product.
