of <h1>Suspension of SION for split carbon steel galvanised retaining rings under Public Notice No. 03/2024-25; input norms stated</h1> Split retaining rings of carbon steel (galvanised) are covered by standard input-output norms for engineering products; the SION for this item has been suspended by Public Notice No. 03/2024-25 dated 03-05-2024. The norm specifies that for 1 kg of the export product the inputs include 1.05 kg of carbon steel plates of the relevant grade and zinc equal to 4% of the net weight of steel used in the export product. Applicants must ensure imported inputs correspond to those used or required in manufacture.
