The Foreign Trade Policy's Input Output norms require determination of proportions of inputs for manufacturing engineering exports, permit substitution of valve stamps with valve stems under code C1214 (suspended), prescribe a brass content ratio and a brass scrap conversion factor of 1.20 kg per kg of brass content, and mandate that applicants ensure imported goods are those actually used or required in the export product.
