of <h1>New SION for Manufacturing Copper-Wound Transformers Over 100,000 KVA as per Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for manufacturing copper-wound transformers above 100,000 KVA, 3-phase, and oil-cooled, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies the required materials and quantities per KVA, including CRGO silicon electrical steel sheets or coils (0.61 kg/KVA), copper winding wires (0.23 kg/KVA), transformer oil (0.42 kg/KVA) or oil base stock (0.46 kg/KVA), pre-compressed press board (0.05 kg/KVA), phenolic resin bonded paper (0.01 kg/KVA), and various components. If transformers are exported without the M.S. Tank and oil, transformer oil or base stock is not included.
