of <h1>New SION for Exporting Copper-Wound Transformers: Material Requirements and Restrictions under Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for manufacturing copper-wound transformers with capacities between 10,000 KVA and 25,000 KVA, 3 Phase, Oil Cooled, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies the required materials per KVA, including CRGO silicon electrical steel sheets, copper winding wires, transformer oil, pre-compressed press board, phenolic resin bonded paper, motorized tap changers, and pre-pressed boards. If transformers are exported without the M.S. Tank and Transformer Oil, the input of Transformer Oil or Base Stock is not permitted.
