<h1>New SION Guidelines for Aluminium Alloy Exports: Input Requirements and Coating Allowances Explained</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for Aluminium Alloy Extruded products, including rods and bars, under the Foreign Trade Policy. For every kilogram of the export product, specified inputs are required: Aluminium Alloy Billets or alternatives like Aluminium Ingot/T Bars/Sows, Aluminium Scrap, Copper Scrap, Silicon, Zinc Scrap, Manganese, or other metals. Additionally, 0.02 kg of powder for coating per kg of content is allowed if the product is powder coated, and Tool & Die Steel is permitted at 4% of the FOB value. Anodised products can include Stannous sulphate at 1.04 kg/kg.
