Surge arresters (MOV, clip cells, RC networks) are addressed with net plus 2% permissible wastage. The policy requires determination of proportions of inputs usable in manufacture of resultant products and obliges applicants to ensure imported goods correspond to inputs actually used or required in the specified export product.
