Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy list electronic items-function, frequency and signal generators, transistors, diodes, optocouplers, CCDs, integrated circuits, microcircuits and modules-and prescribe a Net + 2 Wastage allowance. Applicants must determine the proportion of inputs required for each export product and ensure imported goods correspond to those used in export manufacture, while observing any suspensions issued by public notice.
