of <h1>Exporters must follow I-O norms for dyed/printed polyester sarees; SION suspended 03-05-2024; provide fabric samples and govt lab test certificate</h1> Dyed/printed polyester fabrics and sarees (weight-reduction process) are governed by input-output norms: grey polyester input of 1.13 kg per kg of export product and dyes at 2% of polyester content. The SION was suspended by public notice dated 03-05-2024. At export, the exporter must provide grey and processed fabric samples to Customs accompanied by a testing certificate from a government-recognized textile testing laboratory. Applicants must ensure imported inputs match those used or required in the declared export product and ensure actual imports correspond to the goods claimed.
