<h1>New SION Norms: Fabric Requirements for Export of Dyed and Printed Man-Made Textiles, Garments, Hosiery, and Knitwear</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for dyed and printed man-made fabrics under the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies that for dyed man-made fabric, 1.01 square meters of relevant man-made grey fabric is required per square meter of the export product. For dyed and printed man-made fabric, the requirement is either 1.01 square meters of relevant dyed and/or bleached fabric or 1.02 square meters of relevant grey fabric per square meter of the export product. These norms apply to textiles, readymade garments, hosiery, and knitwear.
