of <h1>Suspension of 1.01 kg raw silk norm per kg for twisted silk yarn exports-ensure imported inputs match export usage</h1> Standard input-output norms under the foreign trade policy for twisted silk yarn in the textiles/readymade garments/hosiery & knitwear sector specify that for each kilogram of exported twisted silk yarn the relevant raw silk requirement is 1.01 kg per kg of export product. The norm addresses determination of proportions of various inputs usable or required in manufacture of resultant products. The provision has been suspended by a public notice dated 03-05-2024. Applicants must ensure that imported goods correspond to those actually used or required in the export product.
