<h1>New Norms for Exporting Dyed or Printed Garments: Fabric, Beads, Sequins, and Lining Allowed with Specified Wastage</h1> The standard input-output norms for dyed or printed readymade garments, which may include beads, sequins, chattons, and lining, under the Foreign Trade Policy. For every kilogram of export product, 1.1 kilograms of fabric is required. Beads, sequins, and chattons are allowed with a net plus 1% wastage, and lining is permitted with a net plus 5% wastage. Import of beads, sequins, and chattons is allowed if the export includes these items, and lining material import is allowed if the export product includes lining.
