of <h1>New Fuel Norms for Combed Cotton/Melange Yarn: 1.74L HSD or 1.45L Furnace Oil for Captive Power Units</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for Combed Cotton/Melange Yarn of counts above 40s, as specified in the Foreign Trade Policy. For every 1 kg of yarn produced, 1.40 kg of raw cotton is required. Additionally, fuel for power generation is specified, with 1.74 liters of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) or 1.45 liters of Furnace Oil needed. These fuel norms apply only to units with captive power generation facilities using HSD or Furnace Oil, and are allowed under specific conditions.
