of <h1>Carded Yarn Production Norms: 1.125 kg Raw Cotton + 1.15L HSD or 1L Furnace Oil for Captive Power Units</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for carded yarn of counts 40s and below as per the Foreign Trade Policy. For producing 1 kg of carded yarn, 1.125 kg of raw cotton is required. Additionally, fuel for power generation is specified as either 1.15 liters of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) or 1 liter of Furnace Oil. These fuel norms apply only to units with captive power generation facilities using HSD or Furnace Oil, under the AU condition.
