of <h1>Suspension of standard input-output norms for polyester-cotton combed knitted dyed fabrics; production ratio and permissible input rules clarified</h1> Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for polyester cotton combed knitted dyed fabrics in the textiles/readymade garments/hosiery & knitwear sector have been suspended by a public notice dated 03-05-2024. The schedule specifies that production of 1 kg of the knitted dyed fabric corresponds to 1.177 kg of polyester staple fibre per kg of export content. It requires determination of permissible input proportions for resultant products and obliges applicants to ensure imported inputs are those actually used or required in the exported product.
