<h1>New SION Guidelines Set Material Quantities for Fabric Exports Under Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for grey, dyed, and/or printed fabrics and made-ups, including quilted made-ups, under the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies the required quantities of various materials per kilogram of export product. For relevant man-made fibers or yarns, 1.115 kg is needed per kg of content. Metallic yarn requires 1.05 kg per kg. Glass beads are allowed with 1% wastage, while disperse and vat dyes are specified for dyed or printed products. Polyvinyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, silicon emulsion, and raw polyfill have specific percentages or weights depending on the product type.
