<h1>SION Suspended for Water-Fighting Compound: Import Inputs Must Match Specified Petrolatum, Polyethylene Wax, Distillate, Emulsifier Ratios</h1> Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for a water-fighting compound (minimum 53% ±1% petroleum, 20% ±1% polyethylene wax) specify per 1 kg finished product: petrolatum 0.541 kg, polyethylene wax 0.204 kg, petroleum distillate (240-330°C) 0.051 kg, and wax emulsifier 0.224 kg. The SION for this chemical and allied product classification is suspended by public notice dated 03-05-2024. Applicants must ensure imported inputs correspond to those required and actually used in the manufacture of the exported product.
