of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy suspends standard input-output norms for particle board/MDF furniture; imported inputs must match export products</h1> Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for particle board/medium density fibre board furniture items (chest of drawers, tables, shelves, dressing stools/mirrors) list permissible inputs and quantities: 1 CBM base, 1.294 CBM plain particle/MDF/chipboard, 141.391 sq. m decorative paper, 9.596 sq. m decorative edge, urea formaldehyde resin & hardener at 1.25% of FOB value, hot melt glue at 1.87% of FOB value, finishing lacquer system components, and hardware/glass/mirror at net-to-net +1%. The norms were suspended by the referenced public notice and require that imported inputs match those used in the export product.
