of <h1>New SION Guidelines for LCV Tyres: Raw Material Limits and Export Value Restrictions on Rubber Chemicals</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for producing Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) or Light Truck Steel Radial Tubeless Tyres, reinforced with nylon or rayon tyre cord warp sheets, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. For every 100 kg of tyres produced, specific quantities of raw materials are required: natural and synthetic rubber, chlorobutyl rubber, carbon black, nylon tyre yarn, bead wire, rubber chemicals, zinc oxide, miscellaneous materials, steel tyre cord, and resorcinol. Restrictions apply to the value of rubber chemicals and miscellaneous materials, limiting them to 2% and 5% of the FOB value of exports, respectively.
