Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for All Aluminium Conductor (Bare) specify acceptable inputs (Aluminium Wire Rod or Aluminium Ingot/Billets) and set input-to-product quantity relationships. The policy requires determination of proportions of various inputs usable or required for manufacture and obliges applicants to ensure that imported goods correspond to and are actually used in producing the declared export product.
