SION Details Input Norms for Export of Ladies & Girls Leather Footwear Under Foreign Trade Policy
The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the manufacture of Ladies & Girls Leather Chappals, Slippers, and Sandals with both leather and synthetic soles as per the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies the required inputs per pair, including PVC leather cloth or velvets, full insole socks, artificial leather, stamping foils, adhesive, and relevant finished leather. Notably, the use of full insole socks is conditional on their use in export products. If finished leather is derived from wet blue, wet white, or crust leather, certain processing chemicals are allowed, but the specified finished leather input is not.
