of <h1>Cess on Coffee Under Coffee Act, 1942: Rates at Rs. 50 and Rs. 25 Per Quintal as per Notification S.O. 1123 (E)</h1> Cess on coffee is imposed under the Coffee Act, 1942, applicable to coffee from registered estates permitted for internal sale in India, regardless of actual sales, and on coffee released by the Board from the surplus pool. The cess rates are set at Rs. 50.00 per quintal for certain categories and Rs. 25 per quintal for others, as specified in Notification No. S.O. 1123 (E) dated December 28, 1987, issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
