of <h1>Updated SION for Sodium Silicate: Liquid form needs 0.50 kg, solid forms need 0.956 kg soda ash per kg.</h1> Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for Sodium Silicate under the Foreign Trade Policy specify the required quantities of import products for manufacturing export products. For liquid sodium silicate, 1 kg requires 0.50 kg of soda ash. For sodium silicate in lumps, crystals, or soluble glass form, 1 kg requires 0.956 kg of light or dense soda ash. These norms were updated by Public Notice No.34/RE 2012)/2009-14 on December 5, 2012.
